Your FOMO could be anything ranging from your fear of missing out financially, socially, your career, a happy love life, having children, you name it. It’s the anxiety that you have been too slow to take advantage of an opportunity and miss the boat.
When “Fear Of Missing Out” rules our life, we feel stressed out, maybe lost. And our actions often lead to misery because our rational thinking has been replaced by reacting based on emotion.
The apprehension is often driven by some kind of greed and…. sooner or later giving birth to what we are imagining and indeed manifesting our fears not having what we want.
How do you deal with your fears?
- Refocus and change your perspective
- Remove destructive fear from mind and heart
- Turn what you have learned about fear upside down
- Change your fears and …… change your life
Stop worrying about what you don’t want to happen, and instead start worrying about things you do want to happen. Initially it might feel awkward, though that is because creating new pathways needs time.
Feel the emotion linked to the challenges of that new love, new job, or anything you desire and let that emotion be the magnet attracting things alike.
What you think about is evidenced by the way you are feeling in the moment.
Be aware of what you are thinking and how it makes you feel. Is it in the direction of what you want?
